We believe a time of loss can be a time of learning like no other.

The death of a loved one is the most profound emotional experience most of us will ever have to endure. We call this experience Grief, a journey that calls for the heart to lead the head in the healing process. There is a cycle of retreating, revisioning and resolving our losses, like the seasons they will return each year with new meaning and growth.

Our bereavement opportunities seek to offer companionship on the path to wholeness. The cycle of life is best illustrated by the Seasons of the Heart educational series offered quarterly in a supportive environment. More intensive opportunities for transformation are offered in a Support Group format.

Our Bereavement Team of trained volunteers, "companion" the bereaved for 13 months through phone calls, personal cards and visits. They are available to listen and give support during the healing process.

At our "Memorial Gatherings" held in the communities we serve, we celebrate lives that were important, relationships that make a difference and love that can not be taken away. Traditional "Tree Lighting" ceremonies are celebrated during National Hospice Month as well as "A Gathering To Remember" in May.
